Position: Private Client Solicitor

Location: New Mills Office

Salary: Competitive Salary of between £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor with 5+ Years Private Client Experience

Job Description: We are looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to work alongside our Managing Partner at our New Mills office to support the growing Private Client case load. Applicants need to have had at least 5 years’ experience in dealing with Private Client matters. This will be a varied role including numerous tasks to ensure the smooth running of matters but some of the main duties will include:

Dealing with the preparation of initial Client Onboarding
Liaising with Clients and other Third Parties
Dealing with all aspects of Client Matter Compliance
Taking new instructions for Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Tax Returns, IHT Planning
Will writing and creating Lasting Powers of Attorney
Full Administration of Estates including the preparation of documents such as Deeds of Variation, Deed of Appointment, Appropriation and Renunciation
Assisting on complex Probate cases such as foreign assets and Trusts

Personal Specification: We are looking for a diligent and hardworking individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties. Good communication and IT skills are essential, as is knowledge of Case Management Systems.
