There has been a recent surge in Will enquiries to Solicitors throughout the country.
Whiting & Mason are pleased to confirm that we can provide this service in order to ensure that our clients wishes are met.
We will ensure that Wills are signed and witnessed properly so that the Wills are valid.
Wills must be signed by the person making the Will in the presence of two witnesses who are not going to benefit from the Will and who are over 18. The witnesses must also sign in the presence of the person making the Will.
In view of current restraints in respect of social distancing, Whiting & Mason will take instructions by email and on the telephone.
Arrangements can be made, once the Will has been drafted and approved, to visit you in order to ensure that the Wills are properly signed and witnessed safely at your home. This can be achieved whilst respecting the government’s guidelines on social distancing and keeping you safe.
Alternatively, arrangements can be made for you to attend one of our offices and either remain in your vehicle or to make adequate social distancing arrangements for your Wills to be executed correctly.
Wills can also be sent out to you along with detailed instructions as to how the Wills are to be executed and witnessed properly.
The safety of all our clients and staff is of the utmost importance therefore your instruction and the execution of the Will shall be carried out with this in mind.
